Hey guys,

I want to buy a new PSU, cheap silent and with a 400W output. So I found this one, http://www.realpower.de/details.php?artnr=67730&lang=en#.WN-yzDt96Uk.

Does this one fits in my Inspiron 3847.

Assuming you're in Germany, this is the least expensive 400W at the moment that I'd advocate for at all.

Assuming the Dell isn't using a proprietary power supply, that would as well. I don't *believe* this one does, but there are a multitude of Dells, some using proprietary power supplies and some using standard ATX ones, and it's all generally very poorly documented. The only way to know for certain is to look yourself is to see if it's using a 24-pin ATX connector.

Good, that's an ATX-compatible power supply (the manual for this one was actually helpful, so I verified it). The PSU I linked will work just fine.
