install old windows on new computer?

i have a hd that contains windows xp home oem, (i have no disc) can i slap that hd into a new computer and use that copy of windows?

im taking a hd out of a dell that has windows and wanna use it in a new system, i dont feel like 70 bux if i dont have to

No, you can't.

At the very least Windows will have to be reinstalled, since you're moving over to a different motherboard/CPU combination most likely. The Dell CD isn't likely to work, since the new computer you're setting up isn't a Dell (or is it?).
