[SOLVED] installed new cpu and now pc won’t boot

My pc components:
Ryzen 5 5600G upgrade from Ryzen 3 1200 ( i did update bios)
rx 570
1tb hdd and 1 tb samsung 870 qvo
rx 570
b450m ds3h
16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram
i have upgraded from a ryzen 3 1200 to a ryzen 5 5600g, and now the computer won’t boot, it also won’t boot when i put back the ryzen 3 1200. the lights come on, fans spin but no post. the power button also doesn’t work once i’ve turned it on, i have to turn off the power. if anyone knows what to do please help

I'm not good with PC problems thats the only reason I have an account on here to ask questions but did you sell your old GPU you used with the 3 1200??? You might have to enable integrated graphics in the BIOS, you probably have already done this but idk
 
make sure the new Ryzen is properly oriented and you haven't bent any pins?
upgrading the bios may have eliminated support for the 1200, since some bioses don't have the space to retain the old microcode

the bios should detected the hardware change and reset either way but you can short the CLEAR CMOS pins as described in the manual
