installing 9600xt 256mb - help !!

i am trying to install my new card. i have uninstalled my old card (nvidia geforce4 mx440) & then taken out old card. I have then placed the 9600xt into machine BUT when I turn on I get a double BLEEP & i get no picture from monitor even though he monitor is plugged in. I have placed old card back in & I have no probs. Any ideas??

'Have you plugged the floppy/molex power connector in?' - wot is this connector - there was no connector on the old card & there is no mention of anything in the manual?

I had the same problem with my 9600xt. I got into bios by hitting delete just after the computer is restarted and finding the agp voltage and i changed it form auto to 1.6v and it worked for me. but about 3hrs after use my card scambled all the collours and doent work properly i have tried it in multiple computer but is all the same i am unsure if this is linked to what i did in bios or not but i sujest you try it my motherboard is a a7v8x.
