[SOLVED] INSTALLING new GPU gives me a black screen

Hello,

I am installing a GPU into an office PC for a quick, easy, and cheap build, but when i plug it in all i get is a black screen. (Im assuming since the graphic drivers are not installed)

Im not sure what to do, any suggestions?

What are the system specs including the PSU?

Most office PCs have less then 300 watt(some less then 200 watts) power supplies which limit what graphics card can be used without upgrading the power supply.

It was only a 300 watt power supply so i upgraded it to a 500 watt, its got the power hungry i7-2600 in it. I ended up getting it working just today so thanks for the reply!

I would look around for a used GTX 1060 or RX580. That should give you a solid 1080P 60FPS experience.

If you want something newer then a GTX1650 Suoer or 1660 Super would be good options
