how do i restart the pc after all the setup files have
loadded up and the computer says to remove the floppy but
not the cd. then the whole installation statrs again. what
do i do

After the setup files have copied, take the XP cd out so
that it will start the boot process from the hard drive.
AFter it starts booting from the hard drive, put the cd
back in the drive.

>The problem is that your machine is configured to boot
from a CD before it boots from the Hard drive. This means
then that the installation process starts all over again.
Just take the CD out, restart your PC and Windows will
tell you if/when it needs the CD again.
