okay that's enough.....lets get back on topic..

so do you guys foresee any kind of bankruptcy on AMD's side if both sides' roadmap go through as both planned? And if that happens, what would happen to the cpu market?

imo i dont think LRB will really affect ATI/AMD's graphics department too much. Yes, LRB should be able to game and what not, but we've seen how good Intel is at graphics (okay i realize their IGP's are designed to be low cost, but still) and also something is telling me that LRB will be more of a NVIDIA Tesla competitor.

they need to put alot of work into stream and open cl, in the cpu side, i think theyre doing just fine, could be better, they need to increase their marketing budget,

itd be kool if they could make a chip that could oc to 4.7 on air

and a dual core mobile chip that can do 2.13 with a 18w tdp

but theyre still the underdog and ill keep rooting for them, just because of the athlon ii x4 620. wish it had a 65w tdp tho

me too, its not even that I like AMD better than Intel for anything specific its just that, i'd much rather pay my hundreds of dollars to AMD to keep them going rather than feeding Intel and creating a monopoly. Although, if AMD did go under, I think Intel might be split apart like Bell South was when it was declared a monopoly.

The beauty of being a xenophobic American is that if we're not right, we just outright don't care, because secretly we're afraid of people who are different but instead just convert that fear into a smug sense of superiority.

lets just stop reviving dead topics *cough*

come on guys, this is a tech forum. We can only go off topic so much and the conclusion has been made for the most part. Intel Architecture > AMD Architecture

Over 500 posts and you still haven't realised how far off topic things can go sometimes.
