Very very nice I'd love that for media playback. What about input :3 ? getting bluetooth m&kb will double price for this contraption... and thoes aren't either very portable or common at all

Yeah I think I'll stick with the Compute stick, where I can likely purchase from a reputable company. Would rather not have the wrong item arrive, or lost in the mail, arguing with customer service until paypal 60 days runs out. No thanks.
If the meegopad was sold more locally I would consider it.

Media sticks are already able to stream Plex and use XMBC and all that. This is nothing new. Cost can be around $25 for a dual core. However, what I would like is this form factor to have something like an i5 for more heavy duty tasks like media editing - and use my huge TV as the monitor - with no other wires or boxes. Maybe within 2 years now.

yeah but an i5 would drive up the price aton for unneeded preformance but what is needed is wireless n and/or wireless ac

I'm looking foward to this! It could change the way my company's employees work. Non of the office team require that much grunt... they do basic tasks so I could clear down out my office with these! There are other (less well known) brands releasing to very similar specs based around the Z3735F CPU (such as http://www.stickpcstore.com/stick-pcs/hannspree-windows-8-stick-pc-quad-core-1-83-ghz-2gb-ram-32gb-windows-8-1-micro-pc-snnpdi1b.html) however I would really like to go with an Intel vesion! I purchased a Hannspree Micro PC to trial and it works great... handles basic MS Word, Excel and Outlook tasks. As a trial I had all three of those running with Chome and Spotiy for a few hours with no problems! I would just prefer an Intel (branded) version before I buy a good number of these!
