So does an I5-12400f work well with the ASUS Prime H610M-E D4-CSM?what the 2 ssd that you are going to get?
it will workSo does an I5-12400f work well with the ASUS Prime H610M-E D4-CSM?
Is there a better combo with an Amd cpu, but cheaper ?it will work
300€I wouldn't use an H610 board. Weak VRM's will heavily limit any future CPU upgrades. Lacking some information though. What is your budget, in your currency?
Thanks but I already have ram in my pc
Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but isn't it worth getting the ryzen 7 5800x for an extra 20€?Assuming you have enough ram, then you could step up to a 5700x, then, and stay in budget.

No. 5800X is a lot more difficult to cool so you need a more expensive cpu cooler.Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but isn't it worth getting the ryzen 7 5800x for an extra 20€?
I have two of these https://www.amazon.fr/TEAMGROUP-RAM...322147&sprefix=Teamgroup+ddr4,aps,113&sr=8-12No. 5800X is a lot more difficult to cool so you need a more expensive cpu cooler.
What's the brand and model of the RAM you have?
You bought two single sticks? If so that can be a problem for Ryzen. Technically it's mixing RAM because not from the same batch and not sold as a matched pair in a kit.
Really? because I've never had a problem and I've seen on other sites that it doesn't affect performance because the motherboard makes sure that everything runs smoothly and when I got my PC there was only a 16GB ram bar, so I took the same one in 16GB.You bought two single sticks? With Intel it's not much of an issues. On a Ryzen platform it can cause massive issues like instability, lower RAM speed or even a non working system.Really? because I've never had a problem and I've seen on other sites that it doesn't affect performance because the motherboard makes sure that everything runs smoothly and when I got my PC there was only a 16GB ram bar, so I took the same one in 16GB.

So should I get the I5-12400f or the ryzen 7 5700X or the I5-12400?
Is it worth getting the I5-12600kf with my RTX 3060 or should I stick with the ryzen 7 5700x , because on the ryzen there's no cooler in the box so it'll cost more overall and so I'll go straight to the I5-12600kf instead of going to the I5-12400 first? The 5700x will win out in games that take advantage of more cores/threads, than a 12400 can provide. If you never intend to upgrade the CPU, in the same motherboard, I would say 5700x. More cores/threads will help it last longer. If you think you will, then I did run across this. It would give you an upgrade path to a 12th-14th gen i7/i9.
