Hello, I was wondering if I should either pick up the Intel core i5 3570 (not overclocking asus b75 mobo) or the Intel Xeon E3-1230V2. I don't want to spend 300 dollars on a cpu and these prices seem about right for me right now, I currently have an intel core i3 3220 and I get 100% cpu usage while running a 1280x720 stream on FIFA 15 & NBA 2K15 (Recent Releases). I'd prefer to stream at 60FPS at high quality While maintaining a low CPU Usage rate.(50% - 80%) Anyways I need some help so any input would be perfect :) Thank you all! PS: I want really good frames 😉

Hi, if price is not a problem for you go for Xeon. It has 4 more threads than the i5 so it'll give you a lot more headroom for streaming. Overclocked the i5 may be able to compete with the frames you'll be getting from the Xeon but the extra threads will definitely give you a better experience whilst streaming :)

The xeon 1230 is compared closed to 4rth gen i7 in performance.
In gaming you will not see any noticeable difference between those two processors but in streaming the xeons hyper threading would really come in handy.

I would go for the xeon I believe it will last longer maybe quite a few years, look at the new AC game pc requirements everyone is moaning about atm,the i5 is minimum req, i7 3770 is recommended ( near 1-1 xeon ). If you look at the latest games we now see difference in i5 to i7 fps.
