Hello, I'm planning on building my own PC but is wondering which CPU to purchase. For rendering, which one would be better? Intel Core i7 2600k vs Core i7 3770k? oh and for over-clocking too?

amufin he will banned us both becarefull.....

Ps i have prove i warn him before ok ?

i have 6 satta ii in raid 0 35 c to 41 eatch in idle...

and my cpu in idle is running at 3 Ghz i don't any steping to get it below + a boost from bios at 3.3Ghz at 100% as you see in the test

I build that PC for someone else. I still have the 2600K.

I don't have a proof, as I never even did the screenshot for myself.

I can tell you the set up. Open case. I did run P95 for 15-20min. Not a full run I know.

The owner didn't want to run it at all (standing next to me).

CoreTemp high was @ 69Max I think it didn't go to 70 at all if I remember correctly.

Mobo was Sabertooth Z77. He settled on 4.5GHz to keep.

Couldn't make him to go for the water.

I applied all the way to 1.415V or 1.425V + multiplier to 50.

Is running hotter from the hour and is dangerus.

Please read my post i know something you got 90 max to 1 core becarefull!!!!!!!!! no way to repeat what i did for 1 hour 2 hours you are dead!!

the capacitors on board if they are japanise solid are working at 105 c max not father risking mulfunctions, damage. Sure i can run my cpu higher but NO MORE 60 to the cores.

and i had 400+ watts load i mean my pc is...

no way something like this to be happen in an ivy as it is smaller you are killing it faster becarefull lower the voltage and oc untill you getting 60 max.

+i don't use aircondition by i have my windows hide open to dispose the leat load of 400++ watts..

this station is near to my home:
