Question Intel CPU Cooler Fan not detected by BIOS on either of the CPU Fan Headers ?

Motherboard is an MSI Z170a Gaming M5. I've tried both CPU fan headers but there is no rpm readout. Any other ideas on what this could be?

Did you make sure that you connected it in correct orientation so the ground pin is connected correctly? Check your mobo manual to see where it should fit.
