Ok bear with me, I'm new at this. I have an Intel DG965WH motherboard with an Intel core duo installed. I bought 2 sticks of corsair cm2x2048-6400c5. Rated 5-5-5-18 800mhz. The problem is when I stick the memory in the board the fans cut on for 3 seconds and then nothing else happens. I have tried every type of channel configuration. 1 module, 2 modules, one on one channel the other elsewhere. Theres only 4 slots but i have tried every possible config. I have an 80 gig sata attached. Heres a twist. I bought the mobo and processor of e-bay. The memory I bought from zipzoomfly. I called Intel and they said the memory was not compatible. I called corsair and they swear the memory is compatible. Can anyone help?

Our DHXC5 kits (both the 2gb and 4gb kits) run at JEDEC spec timings and voltages so there is no reason it should not work in that MOBO. Can you test the RAM in another DDR2 MOBO?
