Hey everyone, I apologize if this is a stupid question but I was wondering if the following Intel DH77DF motherboard is compatible with Windows 10. On the intel website they have the motherboard drivers for windows 7, 8, and 8.1 (since it is so old) and I was just wondering if these would work with Windows 10 prior to me purchasing the motherboard.

I appreciate the help!

Solution
After looking at the specs of your motherboard.
The board is an Intel H77 Express Chipset should be just fine

With ALC898 from Realtek for sound (might be an issue not sure)

82579V Gigabit Ethernet Controller ( should be fine)

biggest one I can see that will be an issue is the Nuvoton NCT67760 I/O controller for CIR and hardware management support
it supports the;

Hardware monitoring through the Nuvoton I/O controller
• Voltage sense to detect out of range power supply voltages
• Thermal sense to detect out of range thermal values
• Two fan headers
• Two fan sense inputs used to monitor fan activity
• Fan speed control
Yes there is a good chance of success. Windows 10 seems to provide better support for more drivers than earlier editions.
However, once installed if you see some yellow warning triangles in Device Manager you might need to download and install some of those from the Intel site. Make sure you download the 64bit versions if you are installing win 10 64 bit.
Make sure you install Win 10 build 1607.
Before you purchase, what about the CPU, do you already have that ?
Remember, its getting old tech so don't throw money at an old build.

Thanks Nine, Your thinking is along the same lines of what I was thinking as well. This will actually be more of a side grade as I already have the i5 3570. My wife just doesnt like the bulk and size of my mid tower and going down to a mini itx case. All I do these days is web browse and microsoft office for work so I dont see the reason to spend a few hundred on a new motherboard and cpu at this time.

Once again greatly appreciate all your help!
