Intel DP67BG not booting with EVGA 670

Hello,
I,ve upgraded my Graphics card from a Asus 5870 TOP to a EVGA GTX 670 Signature 2. The DP67BG don't want to boot with new cad. I've even updated the bios to the latest on intel site. The EVGA works fine in other PC and Asus 5870 still works on Intel m/b. Can anyone help?

Try to reinstall them, maybe it's not installed properly. If this not work, clean the PCIe slot.

Take the GTX 670 out, put the hd5870 back in, download the Nvidia Drivers, put the GTX 670 back in, then remove all AMD video drivers. Should work then.

Um, what exactly? I am not understanding you. But he should probably download the Nvidia drivers and AFTER the driver download put the Nvidia card in.

also, if it is a motherboard issue, sometimes there is a button you can press (i.e. f3 for some boards I believe) that tells the machine you have updated the hardware. Check for that button in your baord manual.

First of all it gives 2 beeps on motherboard, so not seeing 670 on intel dp67bg. Not sure if the problem lies with the fact that the EVGA 670 is PCIe 3 and the motherboard only PCIe 2. Should be backwards compatible though.

PCI-E is backwards compatible, so that isn't the issue. Have you tried getting the Nvidia drivers for the card? My second GTX 460 wouldn't be noticed on the board until I got the drivers.
