intel G965wh motherboard

hi i have intel g965wh motherboard. in device manager it keeps showing unknown device. i can't figure it out what that is. help me outtttttttttt

i have a 680i board and in device manager i have an unknown device as well. i couldn't figure it out either and just gave up. never had any problems though in anything so you should be ok

Need more info to help out. Right click on the device, select properties, click details tab. use drop down menu to select hardware id. What does it say. Also check your bios and ensure HPET is enabled

No worries on it - I have the same board - turned out it's something that only works w/ Windows MCE - addition for Viiv or had to do w/ the "cool & quiet" total system power/fan control.

Sorry I don't remember exactly what it is, been a few months, but after a week of trying to find drivers for XP or other OS's I ran across articles indicating only MCE can use the feature right now...
