Hi,

You all know abt Intel i3,i5 and i7 processors. The greatest features is intel HD GRAPHICS. Many told that the graphics is not so powerful. I am going to buy intel i5 750. since there is no Intel HD Graphics i wish to equalise that with Graphics card.

So please tell me which Graphics card is equivalent to the HD GRAPHICS IN INTEL i3,i5 processors.

A graphics card that you buy will more than likely be much more powerful than the HD Intel graphics in the i3 and i5 6-- CPUs only.

Depends on your budget. If you only want an image on the screen then go onto ebay and get a cheap PCI-express card. For about £90 in the UK you can get an ATI Radeon 5750 card which will play most games at above 30fps at 1280x1024 resolution. Or blow you life savings on a 59-- Radeon or new nVidia 4-- card.

Intel HD graphics are an absolute joke and are behind allmost any, up to about the geforce 6700 graphics card, any card thatyou can buy in the market is better. If you have plenty of money go for the gtx 480 or the Radeon 5850.

Ok i can understand. But you did not be specific. I asked this question because i am in confusion which processor i should buy. i5 750 or i5 661. My view is that if get a Graphics card similar to that of Intel HD integrated Graphics in i5 661, then i can get the same equivalent of graphics in i5 750

i5 661 is a dual core CPU. i5 750 is a quad core CPU.
Intel HD graphics is roughly equivalent to HD 4200 IGP like you'd find on AMD 785G motherboards.

Can you explain why it's important to match Intel HD Graphics when soooo many better options are out there?

Well, My questions are

1. Why Graphics card is necessary for intel i5 750 and motherboards like Intel DP55WB, DP55WG and Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2? I heard that if i use intel i5 750 and Intel DH55TC or DP55WB motherboards?

I novice in hardwares

No i never overclocked and got a chance too. You guys really rock. Any compatible motherboard under 125$ for intel i5 750

May i know what is stock cooler? Is this the brand or the thing that comes along with the processor by intel?

A stock cooler is the standard cooler that comes with the cpu, if you want some low level overclocking, you'll be fine with it, but if you want to push it to the limit you will definetly need a better cooler. As for the MB, just look around on newegg, the socket name is the LGA1156. Here is a link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010200280%201070549182&name=LGA%201156
However, there are a couple of low level brands that you will want to look out for, if you have any questions about your choice don't hesitate to post.

No. I said it for the example. As i am not a hardcore gamer and dont know any games other than this..... These are the games that i played three years back.

What about power supply. If i overclock little and NvIDIA Geforce 9500GT 512MB, 240 WATSS enough?
