Hello, I've been using my PC for light use the whole day and I realized my PC was slow, it took me a solid 5+ hours to realize that my CPU clock speeds were only 800Mhz instead of the regular stable 5.0Ghz Overclock that I've been using for months now.

The Overclocks are applied In Bios.

ONLY after I realized that my clocks were extremely low I opened XTU and decided to bump one of the cores to x51 and back to x50 to see my normal clocks come back:

Why did this happen in the first place and how can I prevent such things from happening again?

After tweaking XTU:

That's very bizarre, if you reboot, does your CPU still hit 5Ghz?
While not knowing the issue as to why my PC was slow, I thought it could be because of memory leak or something (As the PC has been to sleep a few times)
I decided to shut down the computer and reset the PSU a few times to drain whatever was left in there, I turned it back on and the PC was still slow, hours later when I opened Hwinfo I realized that the CPU was running at 800Mhz.

So to answer your question, yes, even after reboot the CPU was slow.
