Hey,
i just bought a computer for my girlfriend 2 weeks ago. Yesterday i wanted to check if everything is fine then i realize when she plays some games cpu temp going 70-90. I found that little bit weird because there is a cpu cooler as well. Can u guys help me to found out what is the problem ?

Okay, so good news is, it has a Hyper X PSU, so as far as I can see you can swap that out.

Although, it's an Omen PC, the airflow looks dreadful. @Phaaze88 is the man to advise here on cooling.

But as suggested previously, best bet would be a new case/PSU/mobo, use your current ram, storage and CPU (although I would suggest getting faster ram). Put it all together for something you can have better control over.

The new mobo/case/PSU/ram, might actually be better accompanied by a newer build. If you're gonna upgrade those, you're prob best to just save a little extra and get new CPU/arch.

It is not stock cooler. The cooler which i have SilentumPc Sprartan 4 Evo. I really don't know if there is a problem or i am just exeggrating.

No, ideally with any midrange cooler beyond the stock cooler, you can expect gaming temps between 65-75c.

Now, there are lots of variables that can affect that. Case, no fans, orientation of fans, thermal paste, among a few others.

Lets start with listing your full PC specs, so we know what we are dealing with.

Hp Omen
Processor: I7 8700
Cpu Cooler:SilentumPc Sprartan 4 Evo
Ram: Hyperx Fury 16gb 2400Mhz
Graphic Card: Gtx 1060 6gb
Psu: idk what it is exactly ,but i know it is 300W. I think should buy at least 500w.
Case: Some Mini Tower
Mainboard: A Hp Mainboard i've never seen before

I Just don't know exactly some parts, Because i bought it on second hand.

I was thinking to change core voltage but i could not open advanced settings on bios.

By the way when i bought it in the same time i changed thermal paste.

Ah right, proprietary written all over it. That causes issue in terms of upgrades, but also PSU. Chances are getting a decent PSU for the proprietary board will be impossible.

Run CPU z- and post the mainboard tab here in a photo. You can use imgur.

Pro best suggestion would be to look at a new mobo/case/ram, put it together with the other parts and get something useable, and upgradeable.

Can you show a photo of your system with side panel removed?
(upload to imgur.com and post link)

Your system needs a better cpu cooler for sure.
Probably also a gaming grade pc case.

Thank you so much, so i should look some good case, mobo and psu.

I see an HP Omen case, and there's cpu package power getting up to ~90w... take into account case ambient... case airflow...

Yeah, case airflow isn't great, but the cooler is a bit on the small side; ~90w package power, but some of the energy from other components, like the gpu, passes through the cooler, so it's dealing with a little more than 90w - running closer to the limits of the cpu cooler than it appears.

Thanks guys for response that fast if u guys need more information i will give as soon as i can.
That pc case is atrocious (considering cooling performance).
Zero air intake and single exhaust fan.
Case needs to go.
You can try running your system with side panel removed. There should be significant difference in temperatures.

Next - think about a better cpu cooler. But only after case has been replaced.
Might not even be necessary after pc case replacement.

Motherboard - I don't think you need to replace that.
