Intel onboard sound?

I'm looking at buying an Intel D815EPEA2 motherboard with onboard "Analog Devices* AD1885 Integrated Audio". Is this any any good for playing some basic games and listening to some mp3's or would I be better disabling the onboard audio and getting a seperate ~$50 sound card?

For <i>basic</i> games and mp3s, yes they will suffice.
