i've search other mobo manufacturer with the same chipset but it is not supported.

i've already checked their official websites and they have the same data

and also, some mobos that doesn't support q6600 supports x6800

i'm a bit confused. my current cpu is intel e2140.

thanks for anyone who can help me.

same chipset different cpu support on different manufacturers. why?

thanks for the reply anyway.

Because different motherboards from different manufacturers often have different CPU support. The chipset as a determining factor in CPU support is usually secondary to motherboard design factors.
