I upgraded my motherboard: b85m-g to asus rog strix b250g gaming last week. When I had my old motherboard, and I firstly connected the ethernet cable I have, it just worked untill I assembled the new motherboard. The ethernet cable gives light, I tested it with my laptop and it worked. Now I do not know why I cant get internet on my Desktop with my new motherboard. My computer has the latest drivers and I tried everything. ipconfig/release and /renew wont work since i cant have internet acces, it says it cant reach the other host side of the ethernet. In the bios I also have no idea to change the settings to make it work... It should work without changing anything right? since it worked on my old motherboard.....
Who oh who could fix my strange problem?
