Intel needs to offer it's 7XXX series customers chip replacements. I just bought a $1000 7900X a year and a half ago and day after day I read about how many security flaws are in my processor. What a joke.

It will still cost them something. And there is a point to make for buying something with certain expectations and promises that turn out to be wrong not much later.

That is a good point Karadjgne made. I think Intel needs to do something about this, however, if you are careful it shouldn't affect you. If i used Intel I would keep HT on and just don't download fishy programs and make sure antimalware is up to date. This is good advice for any tech user whether ARM, AMD, Intel, Via, or really anything.

Apple is being sued for their app store being only way to get apps onto devices.

IMHO if they can be taken to court anyone can.
