[SOLVED] Internet Explorer stuck in crazy loop after opening IE zip file.

I am not sure what happened. I started downloading textures (jpegs) from a SketchUp website. They all started downloading as JPEG files than one day recently they started downloading under Internet Explorer and they were on the download bar as a zip file.

When I went to go open the download to see if file format. Internet explorer opened for a flash second and keeps crashing and opening itself up at least 3 times a second. It is really hard to figure out how to stop it and the source of the issue. I haven't read online about this issue. I've seen a loop issue but do not think they're relevant.

It's hard to find a solution to this, hopefully one of you fine techs can help me solve this issue.
