Question Internet Lag while gaming

Greetings,
I come to the here to the forums because for the past week I have not been able to fix the problem. I have been lagging while playing online PC games. PC is on a wired connection. Since the problems I purchased a new modem (which I returned because it did not fix the problem). Yesterday I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk modem/router combo ( https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/cable-modems-routers/C7000.aspx ). Still the same problem.

I have contacted my ISP multiple times and they sent a tech out who replaced my cable lines. When I perform a speed test all appears fine .

I tried to perform a line test at freeola ; however, it can not perform the test due to something is blocking it?

At this point I feel as if my ISP will not help because they see the download and upload looks fine and they stop there. I hope you guys can help! Thanks in advance.

Update...it is determined I have packet loss; however, I have no idea how to fix this.
