Iphone battery charging from powerbank

Hello everyone
I bought a powerbank for my new Iphone and I noticed that while it's charging, the phone gets very hot. I know that it's bad for iphones to get too hot. Wanted to read your opinion about this situation. I use original iphone charging cable.

Where was the powerbank purchased?

Stop using the powerbank.

Double check its' use and application via the User Guide to ensure that you are correctly using the powerbank.

Good chance that the powerbank is defective in some manner.

However, the problem is warm vs "hot" vs "very hot". Somewhat subjective.

Charging vs fast charging - how much faster?

How fast does the iphone get hot or very hot?

My belief is that if the temperature is deemed hot or very hot then something is not right.

If other phones/devices are charged do they likewise get hot? Compare normal charging to powerbank charging.

Testing may be risky to the devices being charged.

An app like CPU-Z can tell you the battery's current temperature.

On my Android phone, the battery's temperature can sometimes reach 45°C while charging and using the phone at the same time.
