Where do I connect the internal IR Receiver to the mobo?

My first build and it's going well, almost done. This is an htpc. I'm trying to hook up the IR remote receiver to my Biostar A880G+ Motherboard. The IR receiver came with the case and I don't have any instructions. I'll be using an official WMC Remote.

Problem.
I don't know where to plug in the IR Receiver and how to get it working. I can physically plug it into both the serial port (j_com1) on the motherboard and the usb header. I'm assuming usb, but the usb header has the one missing pin and I don't think my cable matches the missing pin.

(The motherboard does have a CIR1: port for an infrared remote, but cables don't match. See pictures of the IR receiver cable.)

Thanks evilavatar, but I do have the manual. What I don't have is knowledge about building. To clarify, I should connect the IR receiver to the CIR1, not usb? Any guidance on where to look for an adaptor (keywords to search for?)

FYI, The CIR1 has 5 pins (6 pin layout, with one missing), the IR Receiver cable has 10 pins. See image from manual below.
