Is 3gb of VRAM enough for 2015 games?

Greeting! I am extremely hyped for Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider but i wonder if 3gbs is enough to max them out at 1440.
Especially after playing GTA where 3gbs was not enough.
my system specs are the following: i7 4790K - 16bgs of ram -SC EVGA 780 ti 2X SLI. should i consider getting a 980 ti? altho that wouldn't be as powerful as two 780 ti's in SLI but it would have 6gbs of ram. pls help!

The 3GB will be enough for those 2 games, I believe. GTA V is more demanding in graphical power and memory. Anyway, Bethesda optimizes games for PC very well, Skyrim is a perfect example. You wont have trouble.
