Question Is this HDD completely dead ?

I have Seagate Barracuda, can't find exact model. It seems like it died this morning. At first Intel Rapid Storage made a prompt saying that it is disabled, I did not pay much attention to it, when discovered a bit later that this disk is absent from my system.

I rebooted it, and my system got stuck in an endless cycle of boot attempts, when my HDD was making sounds which I can describe as an attempt to start reading but with sort of mechanical malfunction. It is like engine related issue when it can't start, or something of mechanical nature prevents it from working.

I turned off my PC, disabled this HDD and my system loaded normally. It is my first malfunctioning HDD, I do not know if I can do something about it, to save data at least. What would you suggest to do?

Probable, yes, that the HDD has conked out. You should reach out to a professional data recovery specialist located near you...since tampering with the drive can and will nuke any mission critical data that you may have on it.

What would you suggest to do?
Always back up your data, if they're worth your life or more.
