As the title says, is it bad to have Windows 10 installed on a HDD. I Know that SSD is like a 100 times better but i have a different question. I read from some users that Win 10 often does random reads/writes on a HD and that HDD is not good with that and makes my PC go slow or freezes for half a second when i install software, play games or do nothing. Could it be that a HDD is bad at handling that stuff.

Specs : Intel Core i7-8750H 2,20 GHz Turbo Boost 4.1 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4 GB Dedicated VRAM
8 GB DDR4 RAM
SEAGATE 2TB HDD

Regardless of what W10 rumor, ANY OS will benefit running on SSD, hey dude they are not expensive these days, and on a budget all you need it is to hold the OS, so 128 MB SSD will do? $50?

HD bad? is the nature of the beast, this even before W10, MECHANICAL drives some people call them, being mechanical have longer latencies (like u have to tap brake behind slow traffic). SSD being solid state means there are less waiting, faster cars around you means less braking.
