Question Is it bad if a laptop stand puts your laptop at a slight downward angle?

I got this aluminum laptop stand to allow my laptop to be raised and noticed it slightly tilts my laptop slightly downwards so I have to tilt my screen more upwards to see at eye level.

Would this downward tilt reduce the flow of the air coming out of the laptop since it's slightly angled this way, or does it help? Is it still better than having the laptop flat on a table?

I was going to ask this. I speculate it might be bad because of straining the CPU fan bearings at an non horizontal position.

A year ago (or was it 6 months?) I replaced the fan for the first time because it overheated to the point of shutting the laptop off. I think the fan barely spun. I've had the laptop since 2015 but it was probably the original fan from possibly as long ago as 2012.

Now, this new fan started to make the same bad noises the old fan had done for 5-6 (?) years before breaking down completely. Ie, it got loud occasionally and I had to shut down and restart to make it quiet again.

With this new fan I also put the laptop on a tilt down cooling pedestal for the first time (running 2 big slow turning USB driven fans).

Now it occurs to me the tilting may have strained the bearings of the new fan. Other possibility is a low quality fan wearing out quickly (as oppose the original).

Does anyone think anything about this? Will the tilt strain the bearings?

So you are going to report to the Marines that their helicopters have a tilted tail rotor and it's not good? 😀
