[SOLVED] Is it compatible?

So i bought an i5 8600k. I have an AsRock B360M-HDV motherboard. Whenever I start the pc it runs for like 2-3 sec and after that it shuts down and it repeats, again, and again. I was told that my cpu is not compatible with my motherboard. Could somebody help me to find out if they are compatible?

if you really have 8600k and B360 chipset, they are compatible
can you list the whole rig?
any debug lights?
I will buy a motherboard speaker to find out why it shuts down.

according to AsRock's website the 8600k is compatible. https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B360M-HDV/index.asp#CPU Make sure the bios is up to date even though the motherboard should support the 8600k right out of the box. Go back and see if the CPU is seated correctly and there are no bent pins in the socket. What was the previous CPU that you had before the 8600k?

My whole rig: GPU: GeForce GT 1030, RAM: 8 gb 2400 mhz, CPU cooler: Arctic Freezer Extreme, Power supply: Cooler Master MASTERWATT LITE 600 (the cpu and mobo you already know). And no debug lights.

The CPU is correctly seated, no bent pins. The bios is up to date. And i didn't mention it, the mobo is also new. I just bought it with a few weeks before the CPU. Sorry, my bad.

unplug everything
plug in only cpu/cooler, ram and psu. See what happens.
try to swap ram slots too
what ram model?
