I have a very slow internet so downloading even 10GB takes about an hour or so, So I wanna make sure my GPU doesn't break/overheat and preserve its lifespan since I live in a very hot country.

I've recently gotten a GPU and I'm very new to GPUs. I have a decent knowledge for computers as a whole but have never actually gotten to tinker with a dedicated GPU itself.

I've turned off the auto mode and set it to 25% since that's the lowest that MSi Afterburner will allow.

exactly, the gpu will power up and down based on it's load. downloading has nothing to do with your gpu other than displaying the progress bar on the monitor.

leave it set to auto so when needed, the fans can ramp up and keep the gpu cool. otherwise, it will overheat and throttle with only the slightest load.
