Question Is it okay to use one pigtail PCIE cable to power a 350w card?

Hi, reading conflicting reports that you need two seperate PCIE cables to power two 8 pins on an RTX 3080, I have a decent power supply in an Rm750x (2018).

Anything to worry about?

Yes, you will need to have two separate cables to the GPU, do not Daisy chain this.
The 3080 is a power hungry beast!

I looked in the manual and it had no watts listed for a single cable.

My Seasonic said 250 watts per cable.

It could very depending on wire length and gauge.

I would use 2 separate cables to be on the safe side.

It's fine until something melts. Use 2 cables.
