Would an aging PSU, such as the Coolermaster RealPower 620W (Plus White certification), on a modern and power-efficient Windows 11 system (i5 8400, B360, RX6600) potentially impede system functions like sleep mode, boot time, or other features?

As it is 13 years years old, I'm contemplating a replacement during this BF deals period due to its age, even though I haven't encountered any overt issues or signs of performance degradation.

that is a bottom of the barrel unit from a very long time ago.

i'd not trust a new system to it at all. def worth buying a new quality modern unit rather than trust new parts to such an old psu.

we won't know what the good deals will be but there is usually some good BF prices for decent models. start saving now as i'd expect around $100 to be the better deals if past few years are any indication. though there is often a few cheaper if you are quick pulling the trigger.
