[SOLVED] Is it worth upgrading from z170 chipset with I7-6700K to z370 chipset and newer cpus?

Here is my current rig below. Is it worth upgrading to a newer z370 motherboard and i7-9700k

• Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Extreme
• RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) F4-3200C16Q-64GVK
• CPU: Intel I7-6700k
• GFX Card: Asus Rog Strix OC 1080 Ti 11GB

For what uses? Gaming, probably so, depending on the game. Photo/video editing I would go a different direction with more cores. General business use not worth the upgrade.
