Question Is my build fine or do I need to change???

Hiya, soo my current spec is:

• I7- 6700
• 16 GB Ram
• 1TB HDD
• RTX 2070, which I recently upgraded from GTX 980.
• Corsair VS 550 watts power supply (do I need to upgrade it?)
• Motherboard.... umm, I’m not sure. It’s ASUS something. (Don’t really know how to check it)

I will probably add SSD soon. Beside SSD, is my PC specs looking good or do I need to upgrade my CPU as well or power supply??? I know my graphic card was a big jump from a 980.

The Corsair VS550 is very low end. It is risky with a 980 or 2070.

What is your budget for a replacement?

An ssd is a good option.

VS power supplies are entry level models not designed to power a high end graphics card.

If you're looking for a better price ^ You can get these models in 550w and sill have plenty of head room since you won't be overclocking.

Totally agree.

The tx650 is actually £10 cheaper than thr 550.
The 550w focus is significantly cheaper.
