I wanna run everything in 4K and have this last a long time. BTW I plan on crossfiring GPU soon.

Your PC is ok.

Single stick Ram vs dual channel 2x4gb is not great, but not terrible. Always go for pairs.

Your PSU could run almost 2 of your system....You only need a 550-600w PSU.

It can run all games 1080p, it can't run nuclear simulation tests or 4k well. that is all

Memory amount is good, on the 980ti, I was concerned with the bus width. One of the reasons the 780ti, in SLI, does so well @4k, vs the 980, is the 780ti, even though it only has 3gb memory, is because runs a wider 384 bit bus, vs the 980's 256bit.

Looked up the specs, to see what the ram bus width was for the 980ti. I have to agree this should be a great 4k, 2x SLI, card. It has a 384 bit bus, like the 780ti has.

The price is a little over the top though. Almost $700, not really a good point to start off especially if you are going to compete against HBM and the regular 980.
 


Actually, they are closer to $650. That is about what the 780ti was, at its release.
