[SOLVED] Is my ROG Maximus X Hero M.2 Gen4 Compatible?

Hello, I am planning on installing a M.2 PCIe Gen 4 drive into my system. However I do not know if my ROG Maximus X Hero motherboard is M.2 PCIe gen 4 compatible. I have updated the Bios to the latest version (v2402).

The drive will work, but at gen 3.0 speed.
The maximus is an intel z390 board, which supports 8th gen and 9th gen intel, which both only support pcie 3.0
