@ is not working on keaboard

Nope, it's not the keyboard, that's the difference between UK and US keyboard layouts.

Assuming you're in windows 7...
Open Control Panel, search (top right) for "input" and choose "Change keyboards or other input methods".
You want to "add" a new input method (US if you're in US/AU/CAN/NZ etc) or UK if you're in UK. You can still select the correct language, it's the keyboard layout that matters. Once you've added it, make it default and delete the old input language.
Problem should be solved.
