Question Is Prism a good monitor brand?

I’m getting a new monitor and I found a good one at a cheap price, but it’s from a brand I haven’t heard before.

Prism 27 inch Real 165Hz (DP1.2) 144Hz (HDMI2.0) 1ms 1440p WQHD LED (AMD FreeSync, PIP&PBP, Los-Mode, Flicker-Free, Low Blue Light, Ultra Vivid) DisplayPort HDMI DVI Gaming Monitor (M27EQ REAL165)

It seems to get decent reviews, but I don’t want to purchase a brand that I haven’t heard of.
What are other opinions on prism?

Prism monitors are actually pretty good. They're made by the same company as Aftershock, the custom gaming PC company.

So is it a good buy? I’m kind of stingey because it’s a pretty cheap price for the features, would it be worth it to buy a more on-brand monitor?

Prism isn't the brand, it's the model. Aftershock is the brand. From what I've seen, they perform well, have good support/warranty/refund service. But it is on the cheaper side, so you get the basics, not anything fancy like g-sync/freesync, led back lighting, adjustable stands or usb-C ports etc. For some that's a deal breaker, they'll pay extra for a big-brand name monitor that will.
