Question Is the Intel fiasco also on Notebook 13th/14th gen?

Hi,

I bougt a Gaming Notebook a month ago because I plan on traveling a lot and I love the efficency on Notebooks because Electricity prices at our place skyrocketed.

My Notebook has a I7-13620H.

Is the Intel CPU issue also on their notebook CPUs?

I couldn´t find anything on the internet that´s why I am asking.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Nothing from Intel are power efficient at this moment and you should assume the manufacturing defect is spread across their catalogue for processors. If you own the laptop and have a warranty period, you simply RMA it and if news comes out(as they always do) that the issue is on Intel laptop processors as well, then you contact your seller and let them know if you can exchange it for something else, that isn't Intel.

What I'm saying is if it's not giving you any issues, leave it be.

I dont see yours but there are so many iterations that your might fall into somewhere there. If you can see the voltage specs, you might get an idea if the CPU is receiving what have come to be known as too high for these generations.

I would agree I don't think it even affects all of the chips that people say are failing.
My brother bought a 13900K when it first came out and has had 0 problems.
