is there a difference between DDR SDRAM and DDR?

hey im kinda new and i just got most of a comp....its a p4p800 asus mobo....and it sayd i need DDR SDRAM but i dont know if theres a difference between it and regular DDR.....any help greatly appreciated

It's the same thing

DDR SDRAM= double-data-rate synchronous dynamic random access memory
