I live in finland and i primarily buy my parts from a store called multitronic.
I currently have a corsair vs650(grey) and was looking for a higher quality one as i was planning to uprgade my gpu and cpu,

Already looked through an PSU tierlist (https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/).
Where i read that it was a good psu, but when i went to buy it i noticed there were two different versions.
Just wondering if theres any difference between these versions.

current PSU:
CP-9020172-EU https://www.multitronic.fi/en/products/1959362/corsair-650w-vs-series-vs650--virtalahde

PSU's in question:
100-GD-0700-V2 https://www.multitronic.fi/en/products/2843922/evga-gd-700w---power-supply--80-plus-gold
100-GD-0700-V1 https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-GD-0700-V1

Planned system:
CPU ryzen 5 5600x
GPU rx 6650 xt
RAM ripjaws 32gb 3200mhz
MB B450-A PRO

Solution
I would honestly look at the Seasonic g12, Them EVGA PSU's are good, but not at the same quality as the seasonic one is, I have a had time trusting Cougar, seen to many PSU's from that company thats failed, I've never heard of that Kolink. I trust them EVGA PSU's and Seasonic in my opinion.

As for the difference between the 2 EVGA units, not much, internals might use different parts for the v2, but they are typically going to be the same in terms of quality.

Thanks for the advice. Decided to go with the EVGA PSU since the Seasonic PSU is out of stock in the stores that i can order from.

Looks like there are three (3) versions?

  • 100-GD-0700-V1
  • 100-GD-0700-V2
  • 100-GD-0700-V3

There's a good article from 2022 that shows the differences in the GD 600W R3, R1 and B1 models

I'm guessing the V1, V2, and V3 are all slight variations from the same supplier? (FSP?)
