[SOLVED] Is there a point of overclocking a 2600x?

bragging rights I guess.
My 955 black edition, has only been overclocked for about a week, I did not notice any difference at all so its been at stock for a decade.
long gone are the days when a proper celeron would DOUBLE its clock speed.

you would be better served by a faster RAM setup or a quicker storage subsystem than a CPU boost that takes benchmarks to notice in the first place.

I have a Ryzen 5 2600 that I run OC'd to 3.95 GHz to get closer to 2600x performance.
l also run my 3200 MHz ram at 3400 MHz which also helps with overall system performance.
If I had a 2600x I would leave it at stock speed.
