I would like to know if these specs can be good for a gaming pc. I am really new at this and i want to build a good gaming pc that is preferably better than the ps4 specs and will last me a few years without upgrading anything. Also, the link is here:

I am grateful for any additional info you guys could provide, for ex, how much will a pc cost minimally that will beat the ps4 or xbox720 specs and last about 1-3 years more with any new games on at least medium-high settings.

Solution
Hey, you could always start. 2 months ago, I didn't know a thing about computers. Now I'm a forum regular here. Buying my own build in 3 weeks, so I had to tweak to perfectness. Anyway, here's the final build, nothing changed.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Microcenter)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($134.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($47.98 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Samsung...
Got the GPU, the computer worked, everything went okay!
Except that i mistook VGA for DVI and now i have to buy adapters for it to work. I'll probably use HDMI to DVI adapters.

But OH!
BUT OH!!!
My wifi doesnt work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some weird reason, it doesnt work. It connects, but says no internet access. I tried drivers, device manager, ipconfig, router and modem restart and nearly everything i could google and still it doesnt connect! Its been frustrating me so much. But yeah, aside for the monitors and the wifi, everything is in good shape and i'll get the pics into an imgur album and upload the about 12 hours from now.

Now, i gotta sleep and dream of things i can do with the beast, Dracul...

With the monitors, they had a VGA cable and i had to buy an adapter for them. Then it turned out that the adapter i got had a female DVI end, so i had to get an HDMI to DVI adapter, but then the 90 degree HDMI end wouldn't fit so i am now going to try and get a normal HDMI to DVI cable and solve that. The wifi still doesnt work. Sometimes its the yellow icon of doom, other times the wireless option does not even show up! I think its probably the adapter but i cant be sure. I'll either try powerline or google or another wifi dongle. As for another negative, i got Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 and it runs in slow motion even with the beast, while it runs amazingly on other low end machines.

On the plus side, i have about 30 wallpapers that alternate every 30 seconds. Its really cool! And assassins creed revelations runs awesomely with max settings!

Uh, yeah, i've been gaming only on the middle monitor so far. I feel that you're a little confused so lemme explain.

1: I bought the monitor thinking it had DVI ports and i bought the GPU accordingly.
Monitor has two ports. One is VGA, one is HDMI.
GPU has four ports. 2 DVI, one HDMI, 1 Display Port.

2: Realized when i connected the dots that monitor and GPU were incompatible. Realized i had a spare HDMI cable. Used one monitor for bios, bootup, drivers etc. A big hassle considering i had no wifi at the time.

3: My mother went to get groceries and i asked her to get me 2 VGA to DVI adapters. She did so after yelling at me. After she got home, i realized they were incompatible as well, because i needed a male DVI-I and it had a female one. More yelling ensued.

4: The next day, i personally went to avoid more mishaps. After much searching and frustration, i found a 90° HDMI to DVI-I cable. Rejoicing happened in my mind. Yelling in the car.

5: Came home to realize that i should not have gotten a 90° cable end. Why? Because the great monitor has a small area for outlets. Imagine an indent the size of 10 large pieces of gum stacked together in the back of the monitor. That was the space for the cables to plug into. Turns out that the 90° cable was too large to fit. Depression occurred. More yelling happens. Wifi still doesn't work.

6: Now i'll be going to the store tomorrow (58 min from now) and doing a few things.
Returning the 2 cables.
Getting same cables without the 90°.
Getting a wifi dongle or powerline adapters.

7: Assaassins creed revelations, Minecraft, Minesweeper, Spider solitaire, Far Cry 3, play amazing on Max settings.
Naruto still goes in slowmotion.

42: is the secret of life.

Nice build man, how are your temps? This thread was made all the way in in April and now look at where we are. Congrats on this, and I hope you game with ease.

I know right, April seems so far away now, and its going to april in a few months too!
About the benchmarks, well, you can guess which icon i chose when i was offered at my desktop 'Bioshock Infinite' vs 'Bioshock Infinite Benchmarking Utility' ............... So yeah, safe to say i love to game on it. Temps, i only remember that they're good at idle, ~40° for the CPU. After i get CPU-Z and GPU-Z later today, i'll give you pics of that. I'll get Bandicam and get some in-game footage. But all in good time, because i downloaded LOTS of games with the steam sale and i still have to try some of them.

Okay man, post 'em here. More than 800 posts, I think this is the second most posted thread after the system gallery. 800 posts, and I have the best answer LOL.

Well then, lets not get too hasty.
I wasn't the one that marked the answer as the best one... just saying...

Check out the Steamroller Speculation thread...it broke 10k posts a few weeks ago...
