So I'm buying my first gaming PC and I've been told it can run next gen games, on ultra at a high fps. Is this true, if not, any recommended improvements?

Yep, me saying getting 600W is with all the components and few extra like more fans or hard drives and Overclocking.
The 600W will be enough and 1TB will be enough depending on how much storage you use and planning to use.
