So far, I couldn't find any other brands. Only this, deepcool z9.. I'm planning on applying this onto my cpu.

Can't seem to find any well known reviewers for this one, just some niche sites and such.. but they do say that it's good though, but still, I would have wanted to see a review from a more known site though.

I would have preferred a more well known brand, but I couldn't find any, they all ran out. This one also has some good reviews on Amazon apparently, hopefully it really is competitive to the more famous brands.

Arctic Silver 5 is quite an old paste with a cure time, there is better stuff nowadays. The same company makes Arctic MX-4 which is a better paste in almost every regard. But to be honest you are pulling straws when comparing any thermal pastes that are halfway decent. Even the best of best pastes like IC Diamond or thermal grizzly kryonaut are only going to do a few degrees at best better than something like that deep cool Z9 stuff.

Right. Now I don't want to use white compounds that like basically glue the heatsink to the cpu like the older systems. If anyone remembers trying to take out a heatsink and the cpu comes out with it. I've had that happen once or twice. But really, you get AS 5 or similar, unless you are really doing a lot of high overclocking with a high end setup, most pastes will work fine. Lately I've been using a grey/silver Cooler Master compound that came with my heatsink that I installed on my ryzen 1600 and it works just fine. I ran out of Arctic Silver, had that stuff on hand, so you know how it goes.
