Is this a reasonable and functional first PC build?

Hello, I am planning on building my first PC in the near future. The build is meant to be under a budget of $1,000.00 USD ($984.03 USD is the total for the build). This build will be aimed at gaming on ultra settings and receiving an average of 60 FPS with games such as Battlefield 4. Also, I plan to record and live-stream which is why I chose the AMD 8-core route in the CPU department. I am looking to see if the components listed below will fulfill my needs; any feedback is much appreciated.

Yes, I checked and everything is very compatible. I chose a 550 watt psu because I read several times in my research that it would be sufficient for my build. But, if you are suggesting that I should get a 650 watt psu to have some safety room, then I could do that.

I'm fairly new to this, but if you want my advice, it would be better to go slightly above your requirements for the PSU. It gives you a good overhead for all your components, and most, if not all PSUs adjust to however much power you're using, especially an 80+ Gold one. Also, if you want to upgrade/update components, a PSU with a bit more oomph could save you some expenses in the future. Overall, I like the look of the build, though. Good luck.

Thank you for your advice. I guess that I will just go with the 650 watt version of the same PSU to be safe. But, can you answer my question of running games on ultra settings at an average of 60 FPS?

No problem! That should be fine.

This link has some benchmarks on what I believe is your desired card, but not on Battlefield 4, unfortunately. However, they did benchmark the card on BF3, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, and some other games.

I'm not 100% sure of this guy's system, but this might also help.

Also check out the Tek Syndicate review, probably some stuff you already know, but might help:
