what is this?! i dont wanna mess with my pc!!! i was downloading updates from hp site i saw a BIOS update so i downloadeded it and i was installing but this look's really sketchy help!!!

Don't update your BIOS unless it's needed , a failed flash can render your PC useless.

i think i need it because i have a gtx 760 that i want to put in but if i put it in my pc (everything installed correctly)
it gets stuck at the blue HP screen maybe you know a fix?

i did cancel it cus i was super scared!
but i really want to upgrade my pc to a gtx 760 (i now have a gtx 650ti)

my BIOS doesnt have alot of features

If there is a secure boot feature it should be disabled for the card to run , if not you may need the updated BIOS.

Please list your HP model when you get a chance. Some pre-builts have trouble running 700-1000 series cards.

A lot of the pre-built HP and Dell boards produced before 2012 , don't support those cards because of an incompatible BIOS.
